JES CDC will particpate in the Souls Saving Sunday worship service
Four inner city churches combine for one Sunday service July 31, 2016 at MLK High School 1530 Dellwood.
JES CDC will set up a booth after service at the Block Party to provide free diapers and other baby items. We will also give out information about 3V Leader program.

Ribbon Cutting of Veterans Community Housing at Manassas Gardens
On November 11, 2015-Veterans Day, The Board of Directors of J.E.S. CDC, Ruth Davis, Executive Director, Clara Owens, Housing Director, Pastor Charlie Caswell, COO, was joined by Senator Lee Harris, officals from the Veterans Adminstration, some Veterans, and other stakeholders to cut the ribbon on our community housing for homeless veterans.

Press Conference for the launch of Love Watch a 24/7 Hotline for youth
3V Leader program works with inner city youth to help curve youth violence
Memphis, TN July 14, 2016: 3V Leader program works with inner city youth this summer to help develop a plan to decrease youth violence. On July 14, 2016 at 12 noon a group of inner city youth will hold a press conference on how they have created a way to help curve youth violence through a 24 hours 7 day a week Hotline and App called “Love Watch”
In light of all the violence in the city they believe that this 24 hour hotline would give youth someone to talk to before they make any bad choices. This group of 30 youth believes that this will be a tool to help decrease the high murder rate that we are experiencing in our city. They will also be holding a ceremony in front of Union Grove Baptist Church 2285 Frayser Blvd. where they have placed 122 stakes in the ground to pay tribute to the lives of those who have been murder so far this year.

J.E.S. CDC host 3V Leader and AVGP Media School Summer Camp
On July 15, 2016 we gradurated our first summer camp. This program thought 30 youth leadership and entreprenuial skills.

Frayser Athletic League (FAL)
4 inner city churches in Frayser came together to form the FAL. This league plays weekly at the MLK Prep. High School 1530 Dellwood every Saturday 11am-1:30pm. This is more than just sports this is a mentorship program and relationship builder.
